Wax Safety

Care and attention should always be used when using wax melts and candles. Always follow the guidelines on burning to ensure maximum product life and your safety.​

 

Burn Safely

Ensure you remove any plastic packaging from wax melts before use.

Always burn your wax melts or candle on a level heat resistant surface and away from flammable objects and other sources of heat and draughts. 

Ensure candles are kept away from furniture, soft furnishing, curtains, flowers, anything that can easily catch fire.

Keep candles away from children and pets and never leave a candle unattended whilst lit. Always leave a minimum of 10cm between any burning candles.

Never handle a candle whilst in use. Wait until the wax has cooled and hardened before moving.

Keep the wax pool clear, don't drop matches or other debris into the wax.

Ensure candle wicks are trimmed to 3-5mm each time before burning.

Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.  Allow too cool and harden before relighting.

Do not add water or any other substance to the wax pool.

Do not ingest – if eaten seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Hot wax can cause serious injury.

 

Extinguishing safely

Always us a candle snuffer to put out a candle. Never pour water onto a candle.

Do not let a candle burn to the bottom of the container. Alway leave at least 1cm of wax in the container and discard.

Storage

Always store your wax products in a cool place out of direct sunlight to ensure they do not discolour. Store away from children.
